Rob grew up playing football and golf in Silicon Valley, California where his parents ran a real estate business from home. As a result, Rob constantly soaked up real estate and business insights and began contributing to the business at an early age. Fascinated by investing, Rob continued to explore his intellectual curiosity while attending Carnegie Mellon University, which led to his dropping out and founding his own real estate private equity firm, Lone Star Capital.
Rob founded Lone Star Capital in early 2018, a multifamily investment firm focused on acquiring and operating workforce housing throughout Texas and the Southeast. Since then, Rob has been involved in over $100MM of multifamily acquisitions and published the number one book on multifamily underwriting, The Definitive Guide to Underwriting Multifamily Acquisitions. He has written over 50 articles and hosts the Capital Spotlight podcast.
